Project Computer Lab ::
Oh mann, just got yelled at by someone in the computer lab in German, understood absolutely.. nothing. Well, I lie. He said something like, "Wow, that's an awesome band you are listening to, can you turn it up LOUDER?!" ... I think that is what he said.
I'm actually going to write an awesome update from Germany, not some two word post, but definately give an view of Germany through my eyes.
Weather is such an enigmatic thing here, one moment it can be bright and hot and then the next moment it is raining for hours upon hours, only to stop suddenly and leave you wondering, 'why the fuck did I walk home to put on my long sleeve?' Overall, the weather is beautiful.. the landscape is green and overflowing with trees and plants. Definately nice. I'll post pictures in an onslaughting manner tomorrow, IF and ONLY IF the computer lab is open. :)
Where does Jeff live? Are you asking yourself that? Maybe not, but I live in an apartment like fashion. There are three floors that are connected with steep stairs that make you feel as if you might fall every time you step on them. They also squeek, so unsafe. I have one roommate by the name of Mami, she is from Japan and she speaks German quite well.. unlike me, but oh well. It's a nice set-up on the third floor. Right outside of my room is the small, but quaint kitchen. Then out of the kitchen leads me to the small hall to the notorious rickity stairs. I'll have pictures of this tomorrow, so just wait!
My room is pretty small, my bed is very low to the ground, only to be supported by a wooden platform that isn't tall, whatsoever. I put up posters and whatnot to make it feel as if it is my room and it is working!
So my routine is as follows: wake up at 6.30AM -- shower.. in a very crappy bathtub, it's not the bathtub, it's the showerhead, is that how it is called? Anyways, it isn't planted in the wall, you have to pick up the showerhead and use it. A pain in the ass for sure! Then I get dressed, eat breakfast(Nestle Crunch and milk, with toast if I have time) and then I'm off on the 7.31am bus to make it to the university by 8. Then I do my homework or sleep till 8.30am. FUN! Haha, then I have German from 8.30 till 10am. Then I usually come to the computer lab, do e-mails.. chat to all the people who manage to stay up till 1AM PST and then I leave for lunch or I go home or take a nap. I have German M-TH and then I have European Union (this session) from 3.45 till 6PM After that me and my friends usually go out and hang out till 10 or so when I come home and sleep.
I don't know yet..
I need to make some friends here that are German, but how do you do that?
I need to find the formula, someone help me find it.
Anyways, I'm going to leave now, that is a small glimpse into my German lifestyle.
I'll post more tomorrow WITH pictures! ;)
Your friend and local ska-friendly promoter, Jeff.
